إيلينا بارّاكير

مجازة في الطبّ البشري والجراحة من جامعة برشلونة المستقلّة (1977). أكملت دراستها في الولايات المتّحدة الأمريكية بمنحة زمالة للبحث العلمي من معهد National Eye Institute (Bethesda, Maryland). تابعت مسيرتها التأهيلية كزمالة في مخبر الأمراض العينية Wilmer Eye Institute de Baltimore، وكطبيبة مقيمة في الطبّ الداخلي في مشفى Sinai Hospital de Baltimore، وبين عامي 1984 و1987 اختصّت في طبّ العيون في Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary de Boston. بعد ذلك، درست في منحة زمالة لمدة عامين، مُختصّةً في القرنية، في معهد Bascom Palmer Eye Institute de Miami، لتستقر مدينة تورينو (إيطاليا) في أواخر سنة 1989. في سنة 2002 انضمّت إلى الفريق الطبيّ في مركز بارّاكير، حيث في الوقت الحالي تمارس مهنتها كأخصائية في جراحة الساد وفي الجراحة الإنكسارية.
