Dr. Julia Sempere Matarredona is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Barraquer, UAE. She carries with her over 18 years of experience in Ophthalmology care and can treat a wide range of eye related conditions in both adults and children. Her specialty lies in glaucoma and cataract surgery and pediatric ophthalmology. Graduated from one of the most prestigious Medical Universities in the world, Dr. Julia has been part of the Barraquer family since 2003, where she did her Residency training and developed her passion in glaucoma and pediatric Ophthalmology. She has two postgraduate master's degrees from Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a master's degree in Ophthalmology and three Expert University degrees from University Cardenal Herrera (CEU). Dr. Sempere has been involved in several pro bono expeditions to Africa with the “Elena Barraquer Foundation”
