Commitment and transparency

The Barraquer Foundation is registered with the Directorate General of Law and Judicial Bodies of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia under number 1888.

Although the organisation is not legally obliged to undergo an external audit, the Barraquer Foundation has audited its annual accounts every year since its founding in 2013 using its impartial and independent professionals and makes these accounts available to anyone interested in consulting them. The information is available in downloadable format at the bottom of this page.

The Barraquer Foundation falls under Spanish Law 49/2002 of 23 December on the tax system for not for profit organisations and tax incentives for patronage.

For this reason, all donations from both natural and legal persons can benefit from the corresponding Spanish Personal Income Tax (IRPF) and Corporation Tax deductions (IS) respectively.

Remember that to obtain the certificate stating your contribution, you must provide us with your name or company name, Spanish ID card or Foreigner’s ID card number and your address.

If you have made donations during this financial year and have not yet provided us with your information, please do so before 31 December, so that you can receive the tax benefits to which you are entitled.
