Dr. Alberto Lozano Pablo

He graduated in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2007). In 2013 he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Barraquer Clinic. At the end of the same year, he collaborated as a surgeon in the beginning of the "Plan Impulsa 2014" for the reduction of waiting lists in cataract surgery at the Miguel Servet University Hospital in Zaragoza.

For 6 years, until February 2019, in addition to the care and surgical activity at the Institut Oftalmològic Quirón Barcelona in the glaucoma and cataracts department, he worked in the care of ophthalmological work accidents for the mutua laboral ( Mutual Funds for accidents at work and occupational illness ) Asepeyo, the last two years as Service coordinator.

Between 2017 and 2020 he combined this activity with the glaucoma consultation at the Hospital Sagrat Cor and at the Hospital General de Catalunya.

In 2019 after the transfer of IOQB and until the end of 2021 he has worked at the Institut Condal de Oftalmología, continuing his dedication to glaucoma and cataracts, without abandoning ocular traumatology for other mutual insurance companies in addition to the one above mentioned, adding the coordination of FREMAP.
