He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Santiago de Compostela, he specialized in Internal Medicine at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona. He completed a SEMI-GEAS-UB postgraduate degree in Autoimmune Diseases. He was an associate physician in Internal Medicine in different public and private hospitals, including the Vall d'Hebron Hospital, the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu Hospital and the Moisès Broggi Hospital. He joined the medical team at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre in 2015.
