09/05/2024

At Barraquer, each new cycle marks a milestone in our career, a moment of renewal and growth. May 7th, 2024 has been one of those special days in which we welcome four young talents who join us with the ambition to dedicate themselves to ophthalmology and to leave an indelible mark on the visual health field.

Sebastián Arrus García, María Cejudo Pinacho, Salma El Masnaoui and María Nadal López are the names that will mark this new stage in Barraquer. Their arrival not only represents a new chapter in their own careers, but also a renewed commitment to excellence and innovation in eye care.

Commitment to Excellence and Medical Values

During the next four years, the new residents will be guided by our professionals in various ophthalmological subspecialties, such as the subspecialty in retina, cataract or refractive surgery, among others.

Barraquer's residency program focuses not only on providing solid clinical training, but also on fostering the values of medical ethics, empathy, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. We strongly believe that these values are fundamental to forming well-rounded ophthalmologists committed to community service.

A Future of Collaboration and Innovation

During their time with us, Sebastián, María, Salma and María will not only acquire technical skills and specialist knowledge, but also learn the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, research and continuous training. It is these pillars that have allowed us to remain at the forefront of ophthalmology for more than 75 years and will continue to guide our path into the future.

We would like to extend our congratulations and best wishes to our new residents. May this be the beginning of a rewarding and learning journey for each of you. We are excited to be a part of your professional development and to accompany you every step of the way.

Welcome to Barraquer!
