To see up close and read, I see better without glasses, how is it possible?

Presbyopia, also called “tired eyes”, is an eye defect associated with age that appears in people aged between 40 and 45 and makes it difficult to see at near distances.

This circumstance is due to the eye’s reduced capacity to focus on nearby objects. Presbyopes look at objects from a distance in order to see them properly.

Myopes cannot see properly from a distance without glasses, but can see very well up close. At the onset of presbyopia, myopes take off their glasses to compensate the incipient presbyopia with the myopia in order to see better.
