Aid from the ”la Caixa” Foundation for the “Mirem per tu” program

Last March, the resolution of the Call for social projects Catalonia 2023 of the ”la Caixa” Foundation was published, granting significant financial aid to the Barraquer Foundation. This aid will finance part of the activities of the “Mirem per tu” program, which aims to ensure the visual health of the most vulnerable groups and offers ophthalmological assistance to users of more than 50 public and private social entities.

We take the opportunity to publicly thank the valuable collaboration of the ”la Caixa” Foundation, an institution that, to a greater or lesser extent, has consistently supported the “Mirem per tu” program since its inception in 2019. Thanks to this contribution, we will be able to serve more than 300 people at risk of social exclusion.
