The “Mirem per tu” project visits Sabadell

The Barraquer Foundation, within the framework of the “Mirem per tu” project, organized a day of comprehensive eye check-ups on Tuesday, March 21, at the Associació Juvenil Esquitx from Sabadell, a collaborating centre of the Probitas Foundation.

A total of 21 young people between the ages of 12 and 16 from the "Dinem Junts" (Have Lunch Together) programme were seen. Nine of them will have to go to General Optica in the coming weeks to undergo a more exhaustive optometric review, in order to determine their exact prescription and get some glasses that will allow them to solve their vision problems. Another 3 users with possible eye conditions will soon visit a Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre specialist who will assess the right treatment in each case.

We would like to thank our colleagues at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre, Dr. Cristina Arbó, Dr. Inés Corbella and Eloi Rodríguez. We also want to highlight the work and good organization of the professionals from the Probitas Foundation and the Esquitx Youth Association, who made our work much easier at all times.

Our itinerary continues in April with the next check-up at the Club Infantil Juvenil Sanfeliu - Sant Ildefons de Cornellá (Youth Children's Club), another of the Probitas Foundation's collaborating centres.
